GIFT AID

This is an arrangement that tax-paying donors can make with the Charity so that tax can be recovered at the basic rate on donations. This increases their value by more than a quarter - every £100 becomes £125. The arrangement is made by completing a simple, once only, declaration. Higher rate tax payers can claim tax back on donations by entering the details on their Self-Assessment Tax Return.

Through this method of payroll deduction an employee is able to reclaim tax, so that a donation of £100 costs only £80 at the current Tax Rate of 20% or £60 at the higher rate of 40%.

Friends will receive :

A newsletter every 6 months
Invitations to all social and fund raising events as well as the Annual Open meeting

Friends promote the Centre and encourage others to join them as Friends and/or Volunteers.

BE A VOLUNTEER

The success of Homelink depends on our volunteers. There are a variety of ways in which you can help :

Provide transport to and from Homelink
Spend time assisting/chatting with the clients
Utilise your personal skills and expertise for the benefit of clients at Homelink
Provide entertainment or facilitate a social activity
