Homelink Open Day
Thank you to everyone who supported the Homelink open day in June. It was a vibrant success attended by many local people including social workers, commissioners, funders, referrers, partner charities and prospective beneficiaries. We are grateful to the Mayor of Richmond and Sir Vince Cable for supporting and speaking at the event about Homelink’s past, present and future.
The open day was an opportunity for us to showcase the high-quality care and support activities that we offer, including our interactive table, craft, partnership work, volunteering, food and entertainment. The ‘Carers Corner’ was a particular success with visitors hearing first-hand experiences from carers about our Carer Support Service.
Homelink Open Day
We are excited announce our Open House event at our Day Centre on Wednesday, 12th June 2024, from 3:30pm to 5:30pm.
This event is ideal for referring partners, those seeking services for themselves, a family member or friend, anyone interested in volunteer opportunities, or those simply curious about our work and facilities. We also warmly invite local service providers to join us and share their information at our information station.
DHL Heathrow Volunteering Team
In April, we had the pleasure of hosting a Volunteer Team from DHL Heathrow, their hard work truly made a difference. By the end of the day they had transformed our outdoor spaces, painting fences and pruning shrubs in preparation for the summer ahead. The impact of their work will be enjoyed by our clients in the months ahead.
We extend our heartfelt thanks to the team for their generosity, time, and effort. Your kindness has left a lasting impression on us, and we are truly grateful for your support.
Thank you for making our garden shine brighter than ever before!
Spark! Award Finalists
In February, we were delighted to be among the top 4 finalists for the Spark Work Experience Provider of the Year Award! The awards ceremony at The Clayton Hotel in Chiswick was attended by over 200 guests, including local dignitaries and stakeholders from business, education and the voluntary and public sectors.
